My half day workshop will challenge the way you think about your health and your environment, providing a new perspective so you can take control of your health.

I will teach you how to become a ‘body health detective’. getting to know your body better inside and out. You will learn to spot, recognise and sense these imbalances in yourself and your family and perhaps most importantly,

what to do about it!

Learning 'body awareness' - understanding your body and your environment - is the first step to knowing how to make changes so that your body can learn to move and be without impairment – whether that is physical, mental, structural or emotional.

Through this course you will be answering questions such as:

What would it be like if I had a guide or roadmap to help me on my journey?

What does taking control of my health or life look like?

What do I currently do to help myself? What area(s) need improvement?
WHAT WILL I LEARN?
We will take an in-depth look at what health means including those signs and symptoms listed above and more. We look at where these pain and pre-pain symptoms come from and why they happen.
We will review how our life stages, cycles and rhythms impact on our health and discover how, by understanding our bodies and our environment, we can gather information about ourselves, and in our new role as a 'body health detective' learn to make changes that will help our bodies back to 'good health'.
The workshop will last approximately 4 hours, including teaching sessions, group exercises and individual tasks for an all round learning experience. It costs just £45 and will give you lots of knowledge, tools and techniques for 'better health' including a workbook to takeaway.

Directions:
The studio is located on the ground floor of the building and we are situated opposite the 'Market Cross Antiques & Interiors' shop.
Parking by the studio is limited, so I recommend parking at the Brunel Shopping precinct in the long stay section. The walk to the studio is approximately 5 minutes through the precinct to West Street
Arriving from North: Wells - A39 to Street - B3151, Turn right onto B3153 to Somerton.
